Syracuse Tournament and Bus Info!

Hey everyone.  So excited to have the Cats so close to home.

If you are heading up to Syracuse for Thursday, be sure to check out the official UK Alumni party at PJ’s where the UK Cheerleaders and Band will be before the game.

Click Here for more details: http://bit.ly/acdBSE

We still have two tickets available for Thursday’s game if anyone is interested please contact Heather nycukalumni@yahoo.com

WHEN we proceed to the game played on Saturday, we will be taking a bus from Manhattan to Syracuse and back after the game.

Currently it will be $50 per person roundtrip and includes beer!
The more people we get, the cheaper it will be.  Easy enough.

PLEASE EMAIL HEATHER ASAP IF YOU ARE INTERESTED! nycukalumni@yahoo.com We need to reserve the correct bus.

If you aren’t going on the bus but are heading up comment here so we can keep up with everyone.  We will probably hit up a bar and/ or the UK Alumni party with the cheerleaders before the game.

Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster and Stubhub.

Come on Big Blue Nation! Go CATS!

March Madness Nike Video

As most of you know, March Madness is in full swing and we have been chatting with Nike Basketball in conjunction with their Facebook campaign.  If you haven’t noticed, check it out here and donate your status to the Wildcats.

Throughout the campaign, Nike will release videos specifically for UK fans.  Here’s one of them:

After a little chat with our contacts there, we decided to do one of our own at the SEC Championship game, Saturday, March 13, 2010.  We hope you enjoy our fans getting excited for March Madness.  GO CATS!

Bracket Time! NYC UK Alumni's Official Tournament Challenge

Ashton set up a group on ESPN where we can have every one create an entry for the Tournament Challenge. Our idea is for everyone to create two entries for the challenge since everyone will be picking UK in at least one bracket. The entry fee will be $10 (for the two entries), and we will need everyone to make their picks before Thursday’s first game. Everyone who creates an entry can pay Heather or Ashton at the first game on Thursday.  Winner takes all.

Info on how to create a bracket is below; some people may need to create an account, but that will be pretty self-explanatory.
